During David’s dignity and respect speech, he will share very personal stories from his life that will connect with your students on an emotional level. His talk is entertaining, engaging, and interactive.Learning Outcomes:Look on the inside….we are more alike than different.Thank two adults…show respect and connect with adults.No One Eats Alone…how we must “show up” for others.Inclusion is paramount in schools and life.Each of David’s personal stories holds within it a lesson to reinforce his challenges. He will also use cyclical learning as he goes on to remind the students of the challenges and how they are connected.

David grew up in addiction and understands what it is like to live in a very dysfunctional household. He also understands what it is like to be in and work with those in recovery for 30 years. He understands the pressure that kids feel every day and knows they will be exposed to substances inevitably.
