A department of over 50 staff, where I play a key role in management of key front facing functions of the department.

Appraising and reviewing ESIF applications and grant's, generating key decisions, and outcomes to determine grant funding allocations. ▸ Increasing the districts focus on tourism - Introduced social media handles #VisitCannockChase to target social media - Concentrating on the districts natural beauty, and upcoming CommonWealth Games - Working closely with the visitor economy sector, and producing collateral to support the project. ▸ Assessing major planning applications within the district, to ensure they meet Economic Development priorities - Commenting publicly on these, which in turn, can act as a catalyst for refusal or acceptance. ▸Strict recording of sensitive data, including monthly time-sheets for European support programmes and CRM updating.

▸ The main purpose of the West Midlands Growth Company is to attract Foreign Direct Investment, Market the region, and proactively encourage the networking of our partners via relationship building and networking events. ▸ My role here was within the Partnership team where I focused on the account management of both BPFS (Business Professional Financial Services) and Visit/Meet partners. A key part of this is to build relationships and work with public and private organisations, to support the attraction and expansion of companies into, and within the West Midlands.▸Being a proactive client facing role, I was in a position to generate leads, and encourage collaboration between active partners, and the WMGC attraction team.

▸Formed part of an initially small team that were tasked to establish the Talent brand into the emerging technology Start-ups space in Berlin and wider Germany. ▸Working with the market "DevOps", a development space that was growing, my task was to grow my personal brand as a DevOps specialist, approaching a totally new client base with this as my USP and grow my candidate pool globally. ▸I worked alongside a huge number of clients across Germany to source DevOps staff - Expanded what was a "cold desk" to one that was fully functional, bringing in new clients, and growing my network to over 7000 specialists. ▸I grew my DevOps brand and niche specialism to a point where I billed over £125,000 in my first full financial year. This placed me as the highest billing graduate consultant within the company, on what was a new graduate programme. and the second highest biller in the entire company, including experienced recruiters working on UK demographic markets. ▸Off the back of mine and the teams initial success, the team of 5 based in Birmingham won "Team of the Year", and expanded to a fully operational team on the ground in Berlin, and a team of 15 based in the UK
