Performed Strategic Loading Studies in support of sales of Vertical and Horizontal High Speed Molding Machines to customers such as GM, Metals Technology, Waupaca, Wheland, Neenah, Advanced Cast Products, Lee Brass, Benton Foundry, Citation, Intermet and many others. Provided on-site consultation on sand, metal, and tooling plus start-up assistance and pre-production training of customer staff.

Responsible for 55 man Quality Assurance Department plus Plant Metallurgist, Q.A. Manager, and Field Service Engineers, serving demanding OEMs such as Cummins, Mack, Detroit Diesel, GE and Waukesha Engine, producing complex cored cylinder heads and blocks in grey and high alloy grey iron castings.

Supervised six engineers, pattern shop, PPAP, and production tooling to improve cast ductile iron steering knuckle performance.

Responsible for all new product launch at five foundries including Archer Creek, Lower Basin, and Radford, plus all scrap reduction and cost improvement through gating and riser design.

Secondary aluminum smelting of FORD die cast scrap, automotive breakage, aluminum sheet trimmings, & UBCs. Experience in furnace construction, wet & dry hearth techniques, rotary furnaces & reverbs, operation and management of family business. I have consulted to smelting operations in India in recent years.
