As the Executive Director of University of Arkansas Technology Ventures, I lead the strategic planning and execution of the university's technology transfer and commercialization activities. With experience in neurobiology and pharmacology research, I have a deep understanding of the life sciences industry and the challenges and opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship.I also teach and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs as an Adjunct Professor of New Venture Development and Strategic Management for Entrepreneurs at the Sam M. Walton College of Business. I help students and faculty develop and validate their business ideas, pitch to investors, and launch successful startups. I am passionate about fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and impact in the academic and entrepreneurial community.
