This internship consisted of 240 hours of hands on experience in the laboratory for multiple research studies. The research projects I assisted in were a Reductive Stress Study and Prolonged Sitting and Vascular Function Study. Through this, I learned laboratory skills consisting of obtaining and processing blood, body composition, VO2 max testing and data collection and analysis.

This internship provided me with superior experience under several of the DPT's employed here. I gained physical therapy technician skills such as applying heat treatments, taking patients through exercises and interpersonal skills with various age populations.
