Research included the development of hybrid polymer nanocomposites and self assembled monolayers and organosiloxane surfaces on fluoropolymer substrates (PTFE, FEP, ECTFE, etc.). • Responsible for procurement and set up of new R&D laboratory facility to increase production from research to production scale of micron-sized fluoropolymer and thermoplastic resin nanoparticle composites• Worked with VP of Business Development to identify and develop innovative new products for customers and fill key market voids, including: optically clear peel and stick fluoropolymer films for graffiti abatement, fluoroelastomers and elastomeric films for secondary containment in aggressive chemical environments, concrete structures and paint replacement fluoropolymer appliqués for bridge structures and lead containment
