Colorado CareerConnect was my idea of the community I wanted when going through my layoff experience - a place to learn the skills I needed to find a job that really fit me, to meet people who were going through the same challenges I was, and to connect with career professionals who could coach and support me. In our monthly meetings we had expert career professional speakers to lead interactive discussions of practical ways to become a better job finder. We also had career coaches to answer job search questions.
