With a professional background that combines corporate development and engineering, I’m most in my element when facing big, ill-defined challenges, leading strategic initiatives, scaling organizations, improving operational rhythms, and delivering solutions critical to the success of a business. My career originated with a Bay Area tech startup that we scaled to 600% revenue growth and where I ultimately built and led a team of more than 50 engineers. Following this, I served in a sequence of high-visibility chief of staff/internal management consulting positions with a publicly traded company where I established an acquisition and integration practice, implemented multiple operational improvements, and helped expand and diversify their global business. My drive to take on audacious projects extends to the personal as well. How many people do you know who have bicycled 8,600 miles from Palo Alto, California to Quito, Ecuador? Yep, did that! The route took me across Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. And ask me about building my own house (single-handedly). Yep, did that too. I’m truly not afraid to take on big and bold challenges that make most want to run for the hills.
