David is the CEO and Managing Director at IoT Central, the leading global community for the Internet of Things (IoT) professionals. Always possessing a sense of adventure and a talent for entrepreneurship, he began his career marketing major recording artists on Virgin Records, Sony Records and Elton John’s Rocket Records label. Next David spent 15 years working with print media companies from the luxury lifestyle magazine Robb Report to regional design magazines like New England Home. With his time in media, David launched numerous new products, many websites and lead transformational initiatives to position companies for acquisition or financial turnaround.Following traditional media, David moved into new media and served as EVP and Managing Director of KaOoga Mobile, a mobile marketing firm. From mobile phones to tablets, David then co-founded and served as CEO of Kokley, Inc., a technology development company focused on providing major brands and retailers with in-store interactive solutions. Launching Hubtabs, David focused on the future of major retail and the various technologies enabling the next generation shopping experience for retailers like Big Lots, Bridgestone/Firestone Service Centers and brands like La-Z-Boy furniture, Bose and the NBA. David now takes his experience in management and leadership for over a dozen companies and is focused on helping other businesses reach maximum potential. Most recently, he also served as CEO at Block Chaser, working in advertising at WEEI Sport Radio and today leads IoT Central's sales, marketing and operations. David studied at the University of Miami and earned a bachelors of science from Northeastern University. He is a member of numerous media, marketing and technology organizations. He resides in Newport, Rhode Island and enjoys drumming, cooking, sports, collector car events and parenting his two children.
