Life Cycle Analyst
CurrentDevelopment of cradle-to-gate, ex-ante life cycle assessment model to quantify emissions from a new generation of bio-energy carbon capture and sequestration/utilisation projects.Key characteristics of analysis include:- Highly detailed inventory of emissions sources, consistent and surpassing requirements set by the ISCC+, and RED II.- Application of completed LCA model to generate a marginal abatement cost curve (MACC) for 40+ options for mitigating GHG emissions from the project, ranging from measures to enhance soil carbon accumulation, to ensuring elimination of fugitive methane, to minimising nitrous oxide emission from soils and many more.- Exploration of novel methods of valorising products of anerobic digestion, including the production of bio-hydrogen, bio-syngas, and pathways for the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) cutting edge fischer-tropsch processes.
