I have a new found family in this company. From day one I feel I have been considered a leader within this huge staff of 300+. Most importantly I have learnt a whole new industry in a small amount of time to be in the position I am in now.

Since it was legal for me to work at this hotel I have been pouring beers on and off. The Central is run by the best owner/manager I have had the pleasure of working for. My professional attitude and my exceptional interpersonal skills are a result of my on and off employment here.

Two weeks into my job as a "Lifty" or Lift Operator, I was asked to take on the supervisor role. This job allowed me to learn a whole new industry in no time at all, and enhanced my leadership skills tenfold. From never seeing snow in my whole life, to being in a leadership role within a company solely devoted to snow.

This may be the most challenging role I have taken on. I was in charge of 30, 18-32 year old, university students while they were living on campus. While it was very fun, I also dealt with other people's problems on a regular basis. This would include suicide, drugs, alcohol, family, etc.

At the age of 18 I decided to broaden my mind and move to South Africa. I volunteered at this amazing school for 6 months. If you want proof that I can rise up to professional challenges, then working with children, aged 4-25, with cerebral palsy and limited English, should be sufficient.
