Research has shown that specialized massage may reduce the occurrence and symptoms of RSI. RSI contributes to over 55% of workers' comp claims. The total direct health care cost to business' is approximately 2 billion annually. According to American Pain Society, the aggregate cost of pain incorporating all factors, is a conservative 635 billion per year.
