In charge of sales staff while working with our applications group with the goal to create new business in existing and emerging markets. Forecasting growth and direction of the company combined with a personal sales goal.

Hess Industries VP of Project Management over all divisions within the parent company (Hess Engineering, Capitol Technologies, Formitt Metal Labs). Profitability, Performance and Delivery of all projects sold within the parent company.

Responsible for every facet of my division in Niles Michigan. This included, but was not limited to, operations, forecasts, personnel, capacity planning, and profitability of projects. I was also involved with all facility requirements, contractor, outsourcing and the various approvals that are part of our ISO process. In addition to supporting a personal sales goal equal to 30% of our division’s yearly volume.

Responsibilities centered on the directing the company to meet our total sales goal ($28 to $32 million). This included forecasts, leading the sales team and prioritizing the workload in applications with the help of the Operations Manager and review of all outgoing quotations

Responsibility to direct the activities of our staff of five applications engineers. This included the prioritizing of work, aid during the quoting process and the final review of proposals prior to being sent.

Find new opportunities and work with the applications engineers to develop the quotes I found.
