- Appointed by US group to drive integration of newly acquired business, reporting to the Group VP Finance- Business Partner to management team providing financial insight and leadership versus growth objectives & forecast commitments- Deployed effective financial processes enabling unit to fully meet US group, local and fiscal reporting requirements (“Best in group” performance vs monthly reporting calendar)- Developed robust business analytics and processes to support weekly/monthly Forecasting requirement. Designed reporting inputs, developed business-specific analytics, led forecast meetings and drove adoption of forecast commitment as benchmark for daily operational decisions. - Responsible for coordination/submission of Annual Operating Plan. Led local management team through preparation and critical appraisal of plan basis and credibility- Driver of process change (Financial Reporting and Planning, Hyperion deployment, Working Capital Management, Authority Matrix, KPIs) as well as structural/cultural change necessary to integrate business into multinational environment- Provided leadership/critical guidance during the evolution of large project activity, including standard terms definition, designing a financial and risk based internal approvals process, and development of processes and practices to enable effective management decisions throughout the order cycle.- Worked extensively with Ops/Shipping teams in order to meet Revenue Recognition requirements, often for complex projects- Liaison and relationship management of Internal, External Auditors, Banking partners and other Consultants- Supported Group M&A (due diligence) and business integration activities in Italy and France.- Led/supported various improvement projects (merger, restructuring, policy definition, bonus scheme, NPD tollgate process etc)
