We encourage people of all ages and skill levels to experience pickleball and discover the enjoyment of friendship and participation in an active lifestyle. PBC signed an affiliation agreement with Pickleball Canada (PCO) in November 2018 and became a registered not-for-profit Society early 2019 and has since gained Provincial Sport Status (PSO) early 2021. In conjunction with the Pickleball Canada affiliation PBC is now the B.C. Provincial governing body for pickleball.PBC currently has 100+ affiliated Clubs across BC and 20,000 members are forecasted in 2024.BC-based pickleball Clubs are encouraged to affiliate with Pickleball BC and Pickleball Canada for the purposes of pickleball promotion and cooperation in BC and Canada at all levels.
