Responsible for managing ASME's volunteer/staff partnership for nine committees responsible for corporate governance, ethics, scholarships and officer nomination and training. Leads the profession-wide effort, "Licensing That Works," to maintain educational requirements for professional licensure. Provides staff support for the inter-society Hoover and Sperry Boards of Award. Serves as an ASME Trustee on the United Engineering Foundation.

Responsible for management of ASME's engineering education, public awareness, professional practice, volunteer leadership and diversity activities. Had eight direct and indirect reports and managed $2,500,000 annual budget.

Managed capital campaign that raised over $5,900,000 for the ASME Foundation. Increased international membership by 40% over a five-year period. Motivated and guided 40 international volunteers. Established ASME Project Office to standardize procedures for portfolio of cross-sector projects throughout ASME. Designed new enterprise-wise organization structure as staff lead for the Project Management Task Force. Developed strategic planning process and updated plan annually using the Balanced Scorecard. Began ASME's video and podcast on-line postings. Started first open source design project. Had eleven direct and indirect reports and managed $2,000,000 budget.

Teach graduate level courses on computer simulation, human factors, project management, and manufacturing systems. Created on-line versions of simulation, human factors and manufacturing systems courses. Faculty advisor of Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers student chapter.

Conducted direct-mail and corporate fund raising. Served as staff manager for industry advisory board, academic department heads board and research council. Was staff liaison for professional registration issues and industrial engineering academic activities, including work with the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Wrote and designed organization's annual report.

Developed membership marketing materials that attracted over 12,000 new members annually. Managed staff support for annual fund-raising campaign whose revenue increased from $159,000 to $405,000 per year. Prepared data for Internal Revenue Service Form 990. Supervised logistics for annual convention budgeted at $100,000 and attended by over 300 members. Designed and maintained management information system for 265,000 members. Editor of quarterly newsletter.
