I work part-time on employment and civil litigation matters. My responsibilities include:- preparing memoranda, affidavits of documents, pleadings, and other legal documents;- attending mediations, examinations for discovery, and non-urgent motions as needed; and- advocating during mediations, as needed and permissible.

Throughout law school, I have been worked for the Ottawa Law Review. The culmination of my time on the OLR will be as the English Executive Editor on Volume 53's Senior Board. My responsibilities include:- Managing three editing cycles for approximately seven articles- Training assistant and associate editors in OLR-specific editing, researching, and networking- Promoting editor professional development by delivering feedback to assistant and associate editors.

- Edited the text of legal scholarship for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.- Edited the citations in submissions to ensure compliance with the OLR Style Guide and McGill Guide.- Mentored two Assistant Editors through the Ottawa Law Review Mentorship program.- Hosted an Ottawa Law Review Podcast episode, to be published in 2021.

Data coding and analysis for a study on the effectiveness of online interactive court forms for self-represented litigants.

I managed the social media and control communication lines for Inter Alia - uOttawa Common Law's Student Magazine. My responsibilities included:- managing Inter Alia's Facebook and Twitter accounts;- writing tag-lines and headers for new articles;- engaging with the community to increase readership; and - run promotions/administer prizes for articles and submissions.

A temporary summer employment working as both a Language Instructor and a Camp Counsellor.Accomplishments include: 1) Taught two intermediate level English-language classes per day to 40 French-speaking children aged 11-15 at an English immersion summer camp over two sessions.2) Monitored the well-being of 100 campers over two sessions through supervision of daily camp activities including class time, free time, and organized programs.3) Planned and conducted five evening programs, including baseball games, dance competitions, puzzles, and mystery games.4) Travelled to Paris with two Counsellors to pick up and safely escort 40 campers from a designated pick-up location to the campsite near Montpellier (via train and chartered bus).

I supported the Residence Life Program at Durham College/UOIT through planning and carrying out educational programs; participating in a weekly on-call rotation; and addressing student wellness concerns as needed.

Part-time, paid and course-based position with the Department of Psychology. Duties include:1) Acting as instructor for two learning laboratory sections per week (24 students per section).2) Grading student laboratory assignments and in-class participation.3) Participating in weekly meetings to discuss, develop, and revise 20 learning laboratory sessions. 4) Reporting successes and challenges in delivering material to course coordinators for future lesson considerations. 5) Completing PSYC 400 (Applied Research in Higher Education), an intensive seminar-based course discussing current research on learning in post-secondary settings and understanding student needs/learning styles.

A part-time, supervisor role working in the Department of Athletics and Recreation at Queen's University. Duties include: 1) Assisting in the hiring over 150 intramural referees and game supervisors across all intramural sports including Ice Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Water Polo, Touch Football, and Dodgeball.2) Training new and experienced ice hockey officials in intramural specific rules, regulations, and policies; conducting sport-specific training for officials at the beginning and middle of the Ice Hockey season through in-class sessions. 3) Conducting formal evaluations of official performance; advising officials on job performance, areas of strength, and areas for improvement. 4) Completing weekly administrative duties, including handling game scorecards, entering sport statistics for 50 games, and tracking participation of approximately 1000 students.5) Advising the Intramural Coordinator on trends and events in the Ice Hockey league.6) Assisting in conducting BEWIC Sports Days, a two-day multi-sport tournament with over 550 participants.

During the 2017-2018 academic year, I am working in a team of three Senior Dons to provide mentorship and support to 24 new and returning Residence Dons and five additional student staff. Duties include:1) Helping in the planning and conducting of several staff social events.2) Creating, maintaining, tracking, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule for eight Residence Dons.3) Advising students and student staff on academic, residence life, and personal matters as needed.4) Plan and implement educational programming for students on topic such as health, responsible alcohol use, and effective study habits.
