- Directly managed teams of automation and exploratory testers embedded within 9 agile teams and a parallel cloud migration program. - Led a team of engineers to re-write end-to-end automated regression mobile app test scripts that were able to run independently in a Jenkins server, utilising an external device farm. - Utilisation of the regression automated tests that would normally take over 1 week to running 4 sets of tests over a 24 hour period - Pioneered integration of Sonarqube and other automated checks in to Github PR check lists. - Worked with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to help them better understand BDD, shift-left in getting requirements right early on - Expressed a risk based approach to regression testing, highlighting importance of transparency on developer PRs and potential change impact on releases. - Involved in senior technical leadership, being included in recruitment efforts, SAFe5 ceremonies and driving strategic change to the way in which the engineering team operatesAlthough the job title is very technical, I had wide reach in transforming the way in which testing was being considered in the way the SDLC was being managed. PayMe was born out of a start-up and as with many successful start-ups there are growing pains to the code that was left behind by previous engineering teams. Testing was not aligned side by side with the code in the development life cycle, but this caused issues with managing delivery timelines as bugs were often caught too late. With a new test suite and checks and controls in place, I helped to drive a change in the way that acceptance criteria were viewed and brought light to seeing them as describing behaviours, tests, before any code had been written. This helped the Product and Engineering teams to be better aligned on expectations of outcome and business values.

- Acted as both Scrum Master and Product Owner for the Arrakis Capital entity managing bi-weekly sprint deliveries, backlog grooming calls with the business and sprint planning sessions with the development team. - Helped to streamline, disseminate and align Arrakis Capital business requirements against BitMEX group level roadmap by representing the Arrakis Capital technology team in management level and product level meetings. - Managed and built out templates reporting multiple project statuses for stakeholder consumption from C-suite level to across technology and product group level. - Reviewed and assisted in writing documentation for understanding Swiss regulatory requirements for obtaining VQF licensing.- Heavily relied upon for working with trading team to understand Arrakis Capital trading requirements and translation in to user stories for technology teams across the BitMEX group.Arrakis Capital was an entity linked to BitMEX, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, who’s responsibilities include managing the group’s treasury accounts/risk management, market making, product facilitation and proprietary trading. My primary role has been to act as a Technical Project Manager, aligning the work of a team of four developers and two quant developers to help serve the trading team and their responsibilities as being a service provider for the BitMEX exchange. Alongside key project/product management work, I have been involved in describing trading requirements from the trading team to the BitMEX exchange technology and product teams and assisted the Market Risk/Product Controller in ensuring risk and profit-loss reporting has correct and timely data.Key deliverables include ensuring Arrakis Capital is able to facilitate and service the BitMEX EARN and Spot Conversion functions for Bitcoin and Ethereum.

- Focus is within the Prime Financing delta one swap business, tight collaboration with cash equities and execution services IT teams. - Enablement of trading controls for low-touch swap execution across APAC markets including algo and vanilla DMA via FIX including netted and pre-trade allocation execution STP swap booking. - The last 24 months at Credit Suisse had an increased focus on expanding technical skill sets to include dev-ops, building out APAC infrastructure and leading the team to develop and release with an agile mindset promoting CI/CD pipelines utilising in house cloud infrastructure. - The last 18 months with Credit Suisse I led a team of two offshore developers working on a new cross equities platform that provides front office traders, operations and regulators with key client static mappings across front to back trading applications from execution to settlement and also covering Prime Financing and Stock Borrow Lending products.Key BA in enabling APAC markets for client facing and hedge entity swap migrations and regulatory initiatives including post-trade reporting.Intimate knowledge of execution and swap booking, helping middle office increase STP and traders improve risk sign off timeliness.L3 support and assistance for front office traders, middle office trade management and Equities COORegional specialist for platinum client swap trading nuances – worked with vendor to build out documentation for Hong Kong SFC.Cross application data analytics considering client trading identifiers and reporting to COO.
