David initially spent ten years of his career with the Prime Services technology team at Credit Suisse both in London and in Hong Kong. During this time, his experience of the technology and business areas has been extremely expansive to include working with legacy systems and waterfall methodology to micro-service architecture designed and built in an agile methodology, vanilla cash DMA execution to electronic give ups. With years of experience as a technical business analyst, he was brought in to overhaul the way in which regression testing was performed to help facilitate a cloud migration from Azure to AWS, whilst the business was still pushing requirements for further expansion of the user base. He evangelised a shift-left mentality amongst both technical and business teams, worked with all participants in a scrum team to more effectively gauge and deliver change more quickly, with less risk to production stability.David has wide experience working in various environments culminating in an agile, adaptable mindset to software development and delivery. PayMe was born out of a start-up and as with many successful start-ups there are growing pains to the code that was left behind by previous engineering teams. Testing was not aligned side by side with the code in the development life cycle, but this caused issues with managing delivery timelines as bugs were often caught too late.
