The Nepal Innovation Lab (NLab) was established as part of World Vision’s earthquake response effort, with the goal of fostering innovative and inclusive humanitarian solutions to support Nepal’s recovery from the devastating earthquakes of 2015. With an emphasis on convening interdisciplinary teams across the humanitarian, private, public, and academic spheres – and bringing together both local and international expertise – the NLab supports project teams to prototype, test and refine innovations in the field.

AIME is a dynamic educational program that supports Indigenous students through high school, university, employment and further education at the same rate as all Australian students. AIME is on track to working with 10,000 Indigenous students annually by 2018, and was recently assessed by KPMG as contributing $38 million annually to the Australian economy.

Based On Birds combined traditional and new media to forge new paths in design, technology and storytelling, and over a five-year period collaborated with a diverse set of emerging local designers, artists, thinkers, non-profit organisations, and cultural institutions such as the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the Australia Council for the Arts. Delivering unique user experiences and engaging audiences around meaningful ideas, Based On Birds gained a reputation for its innovative and inclusive approach.
