As a fraternity expert witness, lawyer, and consultant, I have over 40 years of experience in handling litigation involving fraternities and sororities. I specialize in cases related to hazing, wrongful death, sexual assault, and substance abuse, and I have been involved in over 60 matters in the past five years. I am the only expert on the plaintiffs' side with significant executive experience with national fraternities, and I have published numerous materials on fraternity risk management and history.I am also the CEO of Fraternity Experts LLC, a company that provides expert testimony, consulting, and education on fraternity and sorority issues. I have a JD from Michigan State University College of Law and an MBA from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration. My mission is to help prevent and address the tragedies that affect fraternity and sorority members and their families, and to promote the positive values and benefits of Greek life.I bring the following to any matter:I ran a National fraternity for 25 years.I founded and ran a National Fraternity Foundation for 29 years.I created a variety of alter ego methods for the Foundation to directly assist tax deductibly and take over fraternity functions. I also worked with the other foundations to expand the tax deductible abuse of their entities to assist the fraternities.I was a member of FIPG, Inc.I was a member of FRMT, Ltd.I am very familiar with the operations and history of James R. Favor, Inc.I was the Government Relations Chair of both the NIC and FEA at various times.I was a founding member of the FratPac.I put together a 501(c)(10) for the industry and had a unanimous Sense of Congress supporting the industry passed.I am well known in the Fraternity Movement.
