About David Kindley

I first joined the Navy because I thought flying jets from carriers would be amazing - and it was! - but I was surprised to learn that what got me excited about coming to work every day wasn't the adrenaline rush - it was the people. Since that revelation I have celebrated the chance to listen to, understand and support a great diversity of very high performing teams, both in the Navy and in industry. The second revelation was that, when you focus first on serving your customers, your team and your stakeholders, the success flows naturally. From command at sea of a strike fighter squadron to leading Naval Aviation's flagship program office (the F/A-18), from being the primary business lead for a lighthouse Forbes-100 customer to leading digital change from within, I see again and again that getting the right team, communicating the vision, empowering them and getting out of their way is a win/win proposition.I've had over 20 years of diverse experience in business leadership, program management and test & evaluation. I've directed large, multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams through product development and sustainment. The most interesting thing I was able to work on recently was to define a Strategic Roadmap for the business, starting with a strategic vision and breaking it down into near/mid/long-term goals for the business units. We then flowed out the work required to achieve those goals, aligned with available resources. We were able to give executives a view to the future, the plan to get there and a governance model to execute it. Exciting to be able to define, from the ground up, a digital transformation plan that will pay great dividends in the months and years to come!Areas of ExpertiseBusiness Development | Aerospace Procurement | Supply Chain Software Solutions | Integrated Test Design and Execution | System-of-Systems Integration | Digital Transformation

If COVID taught us anything, it's that Just-In-Time inventory can be taken to a very risky extreme. To be truly competitive, companies need true, validated awareness as far into their supply chain as possible, and they should expect real time notification of disruptions. This requirement is amplified in the government sector, and even more so in defense. Robust, resilient supply chains CAN exist, but they require vigilance and intentionality in mapping them out. Resilinc leads the industry in supply chain resilience - providing the only true validated mapping process in existence coupled with a mature and extremely capable AI-driven engine to flag imminent disruptions.
