David is an experienced education consultant working with large organisations and academic institutions throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He managed a large provision within a UK further education college for 7 years, expanding the provision and developed a consortium of local schools to better the provision across the area in readiness for developments in the current UK education sector.With 11 years of working in the creative industries and education, he has substantial experience of managing and working with young people and teaching staff across all levels of education, providing workshops and CPD sessions on leadership, innovation and creativity in the classroom. Davidʼs experience and skill has been recognised by Apple who have given in him the accolade of ʻApple Distinguished Educatorʼ, and recently, an ʻApple Education Mentorʼ.David has undertaken many projects in the United Arab Emirates, developing partnerships between UAE and UK institutions. He presented at the Global Education Forum in Dubai in 2010 and 2011, delivering workshops and sitting on discussion panels covering topics such as ʻThe 21st Century Classroomʼ. He has also worked as a consultant to the Ministries of Education in Moscow, Sharjah, Kuwait and Ankara, focusing on developing a modern skills-based curriculum.The first European Apple Authorised Training Centre for Logic Pro music production software was established by David. He regularly presents at the EMEIA training conferences for Apple, delivering on aspects of embedding training into established curriculums and elements of best practice, in places such as Munich, Paris, Barcelona and Amsterdam. David authored the ʻBest Practicesʼ document for Apple that is delivered to trainers across EMEIA.David studied at the University of Nottingham, and subsequently at the University of Leeds to undertake a Masters degree.
