During a time of dramatic organizational change, provided leadership to a diverse team of RNs, RRTs, LPNs, and STNAs, in the delivery of the highest quality of care for a 126-bed nursing facility. Clinical services included ventilator and tracheostomy care, gastrointestinal and jejunum tube management, wound care, dementia-informed care, TPN, peripheral IV, and PICC line care management. The initial focus of efforts included recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding a team of highly-qualified and experienced staff, leading to the successful elimination of agency staff at the facility. Resulting in the immediate positive financial impact of a 37.8% decrease in departmental payroll cost in just under 30 days.
