In 2001 I began working at NatWest as a fax boy; I was currently 16 years of age. During my first year I was extremely dedicated, resulting with a promotion within the first 6 months and managing a team of 6. Craving new challenges I moved in to retail cashier, which led to me being promoted and managing a team of 3. During this period I entered an internal course and qualified as a customer advisor, which I was later awarded 1st place in the regions customer advisor category. By 2003 I had rapidly established myself within NatWest and wanted to continue with my progression by engaging in new courses, this desire concluded with me being promoted to a branch manager. During my banking experience, my key moments of success were my promotions and more specifically training/coaching an under-performing member of staff in to 8th place within the region.

I did all the roles within the bank from the managing the telephones to managing a Grade A branch. Sales and Service went hand in hand and produced one of the highest amount of sales in the country.
