Profile bio

About David Kizler

I’m a Product Designer with over 10 years experience designing apps, experiences and user interfaces. I’m also experienced in 3d and motion design for when teams are striving to create compelling imagery. I’ve worked with or alongside many top companies including Fitbit, Apple and Snapchat. My career highlights include designing the Fitbit app webpage to show users all of the features and benefits of the Fitbit app. I also designed a stand-alone website for the first ever Fitbit corporate wellness challenge as well as the motion prototypes that looped on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange during Fitbit’s IPO launch. Following that experience, I was a Senior Product Designer at Qardio where I worked on their iOS, watchOS and Android apps. I designed the first ever stand-alone watchOS app so users could monitor their blood pressure solely relying on their Apple Watch without needing an iPhone. This project was done in close partnership with Apple during one of their Beta Initiatives. I also designed the ECG section of Qardio’s app which made complex ECG data easily understandable. Additionally, I art-directed photoshoots that were used for in-app onboarding so users could easily set up their QardioArm, QardioBase and QardioCore devices.More recently, I’ve worked on UI animations to help Snapchat onboard new users. I also recently had the privilege to work on a yet to be released Camila Cabello music video. I can’t really say anything about that project other than spaceships and who doesn’t like spaceships. Overall, I love designing, experimenting and constantly learning. I value clear communication, transparency and friendliness during the design process and strive to work with teams that share similar values.3D + MOTION PORTFOLIO – https://www.holograph.oneUI + UX PORTFOLIO – https://www.davidkizler.com
