• Helped design and develop a custom purchase order system for an e-commerce company with over $2 Billion in annual revenue. This system is utilized by both internal buyers and over 1500 external vendors to maintain the company inventory.• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software that handles all inbound and outbound EDI documents to and from our suppliers including purchase orders, advance ship notices, and invoices. • Developed software to integrate data from our purchase order system into our internal SAP system for billing and accounts payable as well as the Amazon.com inventory system to enable inventory sharing.• Generate ad-hoc reports to the business team to assist in the resolution of production issues and recommend / implement solutions to the problems identified. Technologies utilized include: EC2, Apache Camel, Apache CXF, iBatis, Java, Oracle, and Spring 3.0.

• Built data analytics platform for health insurance segment utilizing Hadoop, Pentaho, and Semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL, and Jena.• Data analytics platform provided benchmarking, scoreboarding, and future cost prediction along with standard BI reports• Developed a custom framework for integrating data from disparate internal and external data sources into our OLAP database on DB2. Wrote automated reports against the data warehouse to capture key performance and cost of care metrics for the business, such as cost-per-episode rather than a per claim basis.

• Spearheaded the effort to transition an existing CORBA-based claims system to the J2EE platform. Installed & configured Websphere 4.0 application server cluster on Linux platform, developed complex EJB component modules, and instructed junior developers on J2EE technologies.
