Worked in a fast-paced responsible engineer team on the Superheavy booster aft end thrust structure. My work spanned preparing current boosters for flight and designing future boosters for better performance.Specific Deliverables:• Designed and qualified primary structure components for the Superheavy booster thrust structure, utilizing hand calculations and ABAQUS to motivate and validate design decisions• Rethought thermal protection design to cut hours off install time and complexity, implemented on future boosters• Created initial designs and sizing calculations for stringer count and passthroughs on future Starship vehicles

Solving pertinent problems and bringing analysts and engineers together on the largest rocket ever built. Working with a "heads-up" approach to engineering problem solving so as to consider all variables and make informed decisions on Starship design criteria.Specific Deliverables:• Developed analysis methodology to understand Raptor engine reliability and contingency scenario logic, predicted engine losses on subsequent orbital test flight• Refined murky requirements and limits on thrust vectoring to maximize vehicle performance to orbit into a quick reference source that design engineers and trajectory analysts both find useful• Analyzed aeroelastic loading and coordinated between key stakeholders to understand vehicle response to wind, ensured that wind analysis passed the "looks right" test• Developed load indicators for Starship to ensure successful flights of Starship and Human Landing System
