With nearly 40 years of executive and leadership experience, David has worked with a wide range of businesses across numerous economic cycles. He is a trusted advisor to organisations as they grow and evolve and is highly regarded for his broad knowledge across finance, strategy, risk, audit, governance, innovation, and entrepreneurship.David has extensive governance experience having held various board roles for more than 25 years. He is a director of a number of not-for-profits and chairs the Finance and Risk function at some of these organisations. Known for his strategic insight, David has often led industry change by identifying opportunities and knowledge gaps. In recognising accountants of the future needed a different skillset, he co-founded the Pitcher Partners Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.Until he stepped away from the firm on 30 June 2022, David was one of the most experienced senior partners with the leading business advisory firm Pitcher Partners. His specialty during his 39-year career at Pitcher Partners was working with aspirational, growth-focused middle market businesses across a diverse range of industries. His strategic mindset combined with expertise in uncovering and navigating emerging markets helped him support clients to transform and evolve on a sustainable growth trajectory.He has taken great pride and enjoyment in leading, developing, and mentoring people throughout their journey with the firm while building strong networks and relationships. He is now planning his next venture outside the firm and looking to engage in ongoing executive and non-executive roles where he can bring these skills together to help other businesses scale and grow.
