About David Korenchan

My research interests involve molecular imaging and spectroscopy techniques related to changes in the tumor microenvironment, as well as exploring novel magnetic resonance physics and contrast mechanisms. I currently conduct research at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging with Drs. Christian Farrar and Matthew Rosen. My previous research expertise concerns relaxation mechanisms of phosphorus-31 NMR singlet states, hyperpolarized pH imaging as a technique for determining prostate cancer grade, characterizing immune functional changes, and evaluating antitumor therapeutic efficacy. I also have research experience and relevent coursework pertaining to microfabrication techniques, BioMEMS for biomedical applications, immunology, and cancer biology.Specialties: NMR singlet state physics and pulse sequences, NMR spectral editing sequence development, dissolution-DNP, NMR, MRI, MRSI, and cancer biology/biochemistry
