As a member of a newly formed team, I was tasked with taking over a B2B e-commerce platform from an external vendor and bringing it to Avast. My role involved analyzing the technical and business aspects of the solution and consolidating the knowledge with the source code for our internal team. To achieve this, I spent a month in the vendor's office in the USA, working closely with the solution developers to gather as much technical information as possible. After that, I took on the responsibility of building a highly available (HA) infrastructure with the LinuxOps and Network teams, creating CI pipelines, and developing a new deployment process from scratch.As part of my work, I "Dockerized" the entire system, making local development possible. In addition, I laid the foundations for a new Symfony application, with the goal of replacing the legacy system.
