I lead a small team developing a GUI frontend and middleware to manage a small selection of custom server devices focused on security.

I was a front end software engineer with BOND’s client team (February through September, 2022). I led or assisted in the development of several ‘hubs’ for Riot Games’ popular League of Legends. Hubs exist inside the game launch application and are used to advertise new characters, skins, and eSports events with graphics and videos, and link users to purchase points. The hubs were built with Vue 2, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, used webpack for development, and utilized an extensive set of in-house libraries and build script utilities. Hubs are highly graphical, but require the flexibility to handle copy that is internationalized among nearly 20 languages and dialects, meaning that assets and regions must be resizable.Designs were received in and manipulated for extraction with Figma, becoming flexibly-sized and smart embedded SVGs. Hubs included motion graphics for button hovers, clicks, and page backdrops, ambient and event-driven audio, heavy use of CSS transitions, occasional CSS and SVG animations, CMS driven carousels and purchase CTAs, API provided eSports data, local storage based QA settings, and interaction with the hosting Riot client for user settings storage and event state. Projects included rapid development with very tight timelines and synchronization with multiple teams.

I was a senior developer contractor with Surge (now a part of Catalyte). I have worked with a large variety of clients in Industrial, Commercial, Government, and Medical fields. Some of my work was for: ForcepointWeb based front end for a file scanning security platform. React, Redux, JavaScript development with Node.js / GraphQL / Apollo backend. Docker-compose to integrate a half-dozen microservices. I lead the front end component architecture, build the main page layouts, develop hooks, and implement API calls.MetLifeHelped architect and develop a fintech Progressive Web Application. Worked on both the React (TypeScript) / Ion front end and the Node.js / NestJS backend. Platform used docker based microservices. My work included visual components, API communications, communicating with 3rd party authentication/MFA systems, and MongoDB schema and migrations.NuVasiveEmbedded Chrome application to assist spinal surgery in a form of augmented reality. TypeScript / Polymer front end with C# / Unity back end. Communication over socket layer, real-time rendering (24fps target). I worked on both ends but spent much of my time rewriting the architecture for the real-time rendering requests and rendering pipeline optimizations.ViewRayArchitecture and development of an MRI machine simulator. Code involved reproduction of a large Rest API using specs published by Siemens for both Http and WebSocket access. Included a full test suite. As a front end developer at Heyo, I built HTML5/CSS3 pages, used the LESS css precompiler, and created interface elements using the Dojo framework that communicated with the Heyo API and the Facebook API
