I provide leadership and direction for all aspects of construction operations. I'm involved with the conceptual development of all projects and oversee their organization, scheduling, and implementation. Other duties include: estimating, sales, pre construction, and Project Management.

LaBonte Construction specializes in home remodeling and custom carpentry. It maintained an A rating on Angie's List from 2006 through the time of sale. It won several Angie's List "Super Service Awards," and was featured on the Angie's List "Page of Happiness."Duties included: all aspects of job site preparation, construction and clean-up; personnel decisions; sales and marketing; estimating time and materials; drafting bids and contract proposals; meeting with clients; construction permits, regulations, and licensing, including approval for work in historical districts; scheduling of subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries; materials, supplies, and tools procurement; and maintaining OSHA compliance.

Started as a carpenter apprentice and was promoted to foreman upon completion of the apprenticeship program. Responsible for site and personnel management. We did extensive concrete form work including sewer structures, installed hollow metal frames for doors and windows, and finish carpentry, including commercial closers and panic hardware.Site work included building layout and elevation work. Became proficient with signaling cranes and the operation of Skid Steers.

Worked mainly on concrete forms, stick framing, steel stud work, and finish work.Earned certifications with: UBC Scaffolding, Hilti Qualified Operator, UBC Aerial Lift Operator, and OSHA 10 hour Occupation Safety & Heath Training. Qualified on Rough Terrain for Lift and Extended Boom Lift Truck.
