Responsible for talent acquisition activities for assigned areas, which includes advising agency managers of the most effective strategies for filling positions; providing candidate pools through appropriate options including job postings, Non-Civil Service recruitment, Civil Service lists, comparable lists, selective certification of candidates possessing special qualifications, promotion without examination, non-competitive promotion without examination, etc.Works closely with Enterprise Office of Administration, Bureau of Talent Acquisition to post Non-Civil Service and Civil Service positions externally which includes the referrals of candidates as a direct result of those postings.Analyzes applications to determine eligibility. Researches candidates’ employment history and reviews applicant qualifications for minimum education and training to determine eligibility for promotion without examination, reinstatement, voluntary demotion, reassignment or lateral transfer in accordance with appropriate policies. Calculates seniority for contractual rights.
