Creating and puzzle solving are part of what make me tick. I fell in love with coding while working in the Visual Effects industry, and used that as a springboard into web development. Since then, I have used my creativity and love of problem solving to help keep data, companies, and individuals safe.Supporting team members has been a highlight of my career in visual effects, including supervising local and international support teams on the films Hop, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, Snow White and the Huntsman, R.I.P.D., and The Hunger Games. Artists and support team members trust my judgment and problem-solving abilities, which combined with my approachability have made me a valuable resource at work. On each project, I assisted teams of 10 to 40 animators in trouble-shooting software and pipeline issues. In addition I tested and supported animation tools and wrote scripts to improve animation workflow.Since then, I've worked on several teams building web apps for product safety testing, cybersecurity, and e-commerce using Ruby on Rails and various JavaScript and CSS frameworks. Whether leading the code, helping to support others, or learning from my team members, I appreciate every part of the process of taking a project from start to finish.
