Filter Publications produce a monthly motorcycle magazine called Racer X Illustrated and motorcycle event programs. I am the hands on art director/designer for the magazine, event programs, and any other design needs such as logos, posters, calendars, fliers, social media, and casual wear. As well as Racer X Illustrated, we had a bi-monthly magazine called Road Racer X from 2004-2011, which I was also the art director for, creating the entire look of the magazine.I manage two assistant designers, as well as contributing writers and photographers to make sure that text and photos are ready on time.In addition to my design duties, I have an influence on editorial content and write occasionally, from product reviews to full feature stories. I also art direct photo shoots, which involves coming up with concepts, finding locations, and overseeing the shoot itself.The nature of this job means I am very used to working under pressure and making sure deadlines are met.

I produced 3D designs of motocross gear for a video game called MadSkills MX3. This included coming up with concepts and applying them to a 3D template using Adobe Substance Painter.

Black Card Mag was a luxury lifestyle magazine that I wrote for on a freelance basis from 2012 to 2014.

O’Neal is a motorcycle/mountain bike protective apparel company. During my time there I designed the entire 2001 line of product.This included everything from helmet graphics, to jersey graphics, pants, gloves, body armor, elbow guards, casual wear, packaging, and more. I was responsible for communicating with vendors to ensure that products and samples were produced to the correct specifications. I was also responsible for research and development, which included going to trade shows and testing the products myself during riding sessions.

Nexus is an advertising agency that produces high quality ads, brochures, and promotional materials for Suzuki and Honda two wheel and four wheel divisions. I worked with a team of designers on everything from catalog layouts, to magazine ads, re-touching of high-res images, and photo manipulation.

GMC Publications produce six different craft and business magazines. I had complete design responsibility for one of the magazines called Business Matters and created the entire look of that magazine.

Aon Ltd is an insurance company. I worked in the design department as a trainee graphic designer. I worked on various projects including design and typesetting for adverts and company stationery. I also spent time in the print room making plates and using the print machines to do small runs of letterheads and other stationery.
