About David L Brock

Liquid Intelligence, is looking for funding so I am not currently looking to invest. I am the inventor of IoT, M2M, RFID for Products & AutoID, now productizing the "Intelliweb" to promote global advancement. The "intelliweb" is a framework that allows artificial intelligences(Ai's) to collaborate and innovate with humans; listen, understand, and speak any human language in the world; and self-build organizations to produce results. It began in 1988, when I envisioned a world of interconnectivity. To build an intelligent network, however, I knew I needed to design a series of platforms to support such infrastructure. The IoT, or the idea of connecting physical objects to the web using RFID tags, set the groundwork for the intelliweb. After a year, I realized that this was too much work for a single individual. I collaborated with two friends, and we brought Auto-ID to market. In the early-2000s that took off and I moved onto the intelliweb. The idea behind the intelliweb is not a supercomputer, or an Ai that has been trained, but an organization of Ai's that are all delegated with different tasks.I believed this would be easy. After a few years, I realized how in depth and complex the process would be. After nearly two decades, I have finally completed the platform. I have shown proof of concept in multiple verticals, including: D. of Defense, retail, personal assistants, energy, healthcare, and nutrition. The platform's applications have been stable for almost 3 years, and is licensed to each company. It is time to enable others to use my APIs to create their own applications and come up with new solutions. The possibilities are endless, and I believe just as IoT, this will advance societies on a global scale.Currently, we are selling the software on a license base, but will soon release it on a model where users pay for the data they consume. We also have specialized consultants to help developers, and an auto-UI generating platform, if that is requested.

  • Liquid Intelligence, Inc.
    Founder
Liquid Intelligence, Inc. Jan 2012 - Present
Liquid Intelligence has created a set of algorithms that allow artificial intelligences to access internal and/or external networks of Big Data, in order to sew together fabrics of information together. The artificial intelligences are able to perceive this information through the technology of the Q Language – a language that possesses all of the complexity, structure and precision that other languages do, but now relies on the processes of human languages as well – intelligence, symbolism, and abstract speech.Uses Natural Language Processing and Understanding (NLP and NLU), “Machine Learning”, “Deep Learning”, and neutral networks.

  • Hangout Industries, Inc.
    Founder And Chief Technology Officer
Hangout Industries, Inc. Jul 2005 - Feb 2011
Hangout developed a social gaming environment by combining the powerful community of social networks with the rich immersion and engaging casual game-play of a 3D virtual world.Play Games, Go Shopping, Throw Parties for Causes in Hangout Teen girls (and later guys) create their own personalized avatars, play casual mini-games, go shopping, throw parties for their friends, or just hangout. Playing games earns money for fashionable looks, new moves on the dance floor, or money to give to charity. At launch, players were able to begin building their fashion empire as they level up to become a top fashion designer. They could also aspire to become a dance master or the ultimate chef in order to throw the party of a lifetime, all in the name of a real charity of their choice. Hangout was about having fun with friends, meeting new people, and making a difference!Hangout uniquely integrated social games with a virtual world. Each game published seamlessly plugged into the same virtual world, so players kept their avatars, possessions, and status from game to game. The integrated publishing approach resulted in improved cross-promotion and better player retention and monetization.
  • Endovia Medical Inc
    Founder And Chief Technology Officer
Endovia Medical Inc Jun 1996 - Apr 2005
endoVia Medical, Inc. was a medical device manufacturer that offered a physician-guided robotic system for minimally invasive surgery in the United States and Europe. It offered Laprotek system, a robotic instrument system that supports various general, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgeries designed for community hospitals and teaching institutions; Laprotek sterile disposable instruments attached to the Laprotek surgical arms and consisted of a series of interchangeable instruments, such as standard laparoscopic scissors, graspers, cautery, and needle holders; and ViaCath system, a portable device that expanded the company’s software and robotic technology platforms. The ViaCath system, which included a user interface and instrument control platform, allows the endoscopist or surgeon to manipulate catheter instruments deep inside the patient. The company was founded in 1996 as Brock Rogers Surgical, Inc. and changed its name to endoVia Medical, Inc. in 2002.
  • Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (Mit)
Principal Research Scientist - Co-Founder And Co-Director Mit Auto-Id Center
Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (Mit) 1998 - 2003
    Cambridge, Ma, Us
As Principal Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Brock was Founder and Director of the MIT Data Center, as well as co-Founder and co-Director of the Auto-ID Center (now EPCglobal, Inc. and Auto-ID Laboratories). MIT Auto-ID CenterFounded in 1999, the Auto-ID Center was a unique partnership between almost 100 global companies and six of the world's leading research universities; the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US, the University of Cambridge in the UK, the University of Adelaide in Australia, Keio University in Japan, the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and Fudan University in China. Together they were creating the standards and assembling the building blocks needed to launch the "Internet of things."Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a simple concept with enormous implications. Put a tag - a microchip with an antenna - on a can of Coke or a car axle, and suddenly a computer can "see" it. Put tags on every can of Coke and every car axle, and suddenly the world changes. No more inventory counts. No more lost or misdirected shipments. No more guessing how much material is in the supply chain - or how much product is on the store shelves. The Auto-ID Center was designing, building, testing and deploying a global infrastructure - a layer on top of the Internet - that made it possible for computers to identify any object anywhere in the world instantly. This network not only provided the means to feed reliable, accurate, real-time information into existing business applications; it ushered in a whole new era of innovation and opportunity.
