From technological constraints to usability testing, I have developed a strong interest in the way products work. My current position with Oracle allows me to look deep into the complexities of business intelligence software with the goal of designing a friendly solution for both experienced and novice users. The product I work on, Big Data Discovery, tackles a wide range of problems associated with assembling, managing, manipulating, and curating big data projects.At Oracle I advocate for alleviating friction points within the design cycle by refining common practices (e.g., internal workflows), researching emerging trends, and by building reusable assets such as frameworks, style guides, and libraries to share between designers and engineers. I am detail-oriented and results-driven so I focus on efficiency and consistency with daily tasks. I believe positive culture leads to great products; clear goals and good communication between team members has been an essential ingredient in our success.
