• Gathering, analysing and documenting IT requirements (both functional and non-functional) for the purpose of integrating Cash Management IT platforms.• Define as-is and to-be processes to analyse gaps and impacts, with specific focus on reconciliation processes.• Liaison with external 3rd party software vendors to agree scope of change required, specifications, method of transmission.• Management of traceability of requirements to delivered solution.

• Responsible for scoping, analysing, designing, building, deploying and optimising reconciliation and data management solutions for clients, based upon the SQL Server suite of technologies with emphasis on the Database Engine, Integration Services, Reporting Services and Analysis Services.• Working closely with clients to understand both the business and technical challenges faced, in order to guide them to the most appropriate solution.

• Responsible for gathering requirements, analysing, designing, building and deploying a Management Information suite to back office operations, as part of system transformation project.• Liaison between multiple technical teams (including 3rd Party vendors) and the end users to ensure all requirements were met.• Management responsibility for a small team of developers based in a number of geographical locations.• Co-ordination and support of multiple test phases, as part of the overall test and delivery plan.• Ongoing BAU Change Management of reporting suite once live.

Progression through a variety of roles, ending as Senior Developer. Specific skills covered include:• Financial reconciliations and reporting• Project management• SQL server development As a team, we worked on a successful migration of circa 100 automated reconciliations from a mainframe platform to a multi-user client/server platform, followed by phased implementations to 2000+ automated reconciliations.
