Product and test engineering manager for late NPI and sustaining cloud infrastructure solutions. Accountable for sustainment of all data center solutions across a global network of 3rd party system integrators and manufacturers. Functionally responsible (direct and dotted-line reporting) for teams in North American and Asia providing support for debug, change management, test engineering, test development, new product transition and new vendor onboarding.

Bootstrapped, developed, and managed global organization leading deployment, integration, and testing of new cloud data center products. Defined team charter, rhythm of business, hiring strategies, internal processes, test strategy, project portfolio, and oversaw root cause & corrective action efforts. Products supported include: Google designed custom data center server, network, machine learning, accelerator, power delivery/UPS, and rack systems as well as various other OEM solutions.

Led deployments for Google's first data center presence in Atlanta and multiple locations across the US and Canada. Developed rack, server, network, & storage system integration, bring-up, deployment, quality assurance and maintenance processes while also scaling our data center operations organization across the US. Led as the local manager for all systems integration and DC deployments in the Atlanta region while also program managing global deployments and quality assurance 5 exascale data center campuses (>XXMW). Spearheaded the development, qualification, and roll out of software systems to fully automate rack receipt, power on, configuration, attestation and cluster integration while also improving overall fleet quality by >60%.

Deployments lead for Google's first wholly owned data center. Performed space/power calcs, led capacity planning, managed deployment schedules, coordinated contract manufacturing and third party logistics activities, drove L2 and L3 network bring-up, developed software to automate system bootstrap, burn-in & handoff, and served as SRE local point of contact for high severity issues in the data center.

Oversaw development and deployment of outside plant infrastructure. Conducted site surveys, performed field circuit analysis, created engineering drawings, documented & reviewed statements of work, and managed contract construction activities for both copper and fiber deployments/retrofits. Worked on some of the first FITL (Fiber In The Loop) and FTTC (Fiber To The Curb) deployments in the Savannah metro area.

Supported PLC systems as well as IT infrastructure for Fort Howard paper mill. Developed and maintained system for on-site back-up of machine logs, maintained ladder logic routines, led deployment of fiber optic factory networks, and led conversion from token ring to ethernet networks.
