In this role, I create vendor research reports and conduct due diligence on vendors both within internal and external systems to make certain that vendors are compliant. I am a creator of over 200 due diligence reports to research vendors that pose the highest risks to Kroger, where I would then report my findings to internal stakeholders monthly.In this role, I also assist Kroger's supplier diversity team to make certain that vendors have diversity certifications and create inclusivity within Kroger’s supplier selection process. In one of my first projects, I led an outreach effort to self-identified certified diverse vendors which led to 22 vendors with an average of $33 million in annual spend to become certified diverse vendors with 10 vendors investigating to achieve diversity certification.

In this role, I was able to help educate internal team members and external vendors on how to use Kroger's modernized systems, for example Kroger’s Supplier Hub, Oracle, Coupa systems. I was able to lead trainings, draft communication messages, and be an advocate within the Enterprise Sourcing department as well as other Kroger departments to utilize Kroger's modernized systems.I was also a leader of multiple training sessions as a co-presenter. The training sessions that I helped lead include Design-to-Value, Vendor Enablement, Kroger's Manufacturing Sourcing Approval process, & Cybersecurity One Trust Kick-Off Assessments.

In this role, I assisted Kroger team members and department leaders by getting new vendors set up in Kroger systems by initiating of over 1,100 vendors to enable vendors to gain access to Kroger’s Supplier Hub system. This vendor enablement effort in Kroger's Supplier Hub helped vendors to be connected into Kroger's modernized systems including Coupa, Oracle, PLM, and Kroger's payment system so that Kroger associates can continue ordering products and services from the vendors and vendors can be paid accordingly and continue providing their products and services to Kroger locations to help serve Kroger’s customers and associates.

In this role, I created and analyzed reports for Kroger's category managers, coordinators, and directors in the fresh bakery, deli, and food service departments at Kroger. I also analyzed promotional plans to determine weekly, monthly, and year-to-date sales on all items in the fresh bakery, deli, and food service departments by running White Tag analyses for Kroger's promotional planners and division merchandisers.I was also able to process cost changes from vendors that were approved by category managers and analyze cost-saving opportunities for category team. I also assisted the food service department at Kroger to identify sales gaps and research which of Kroger's divisions have sales opportunities on a product that can be duplicated across the enterprise.
