Software is my industry, and AI is my specialty – but the most fun I have is collaborating with humans. I love working with talented people to bring innovative technologies to developers. Our Google team is genuinely inspiring, my colleagues are amazing, and our developer communities build magical things that improve the lives of people everywhere. In fact, over the years I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing people on meaningful new technologies: * Developer Platforms lessons came through collaborating with the team at Sun Microsystems with the BHAG to be “the dot in doc-com” * Building high performing teams when you are ‘inside the tornado’ was the lesson from the fastest growing enterprise software company in history, Blue Martini Software. * Strategy and organizational insights came from collaborating with the Cloud CTO to evangelize cloud at and for a large technology vendor, Veritas/Symantec. * Sense-of-urgency and startup realities came as a member of the leadership team at a high growth startup with a happy exit, Arkeia Software. My Google Journey: In 2013 I joined Google to work with a small but talented technical team that had a huge vision - to grow the nascent cloud platform into the top public cloud. We have since launched industry-shaping products: TensorFlow, TPUs, AutoML, Vertex AI, and most recently an entire new suite of Generative AI solutions including AI Studio, Model Garden, Vertex AI Search and Conversation, PaLM 2, Codey, Imagen, and Chirp and Gemini.Specialties: Team Building, Leadership, Generative AI, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Technology Evangelism, Developer Marketing.
