David Lipson is a Producer & Writer. Colleagues describe him as "I was fortunate enough to be able to hire David while I was the ACD of Rocket XL in Toronto. Maybe it was his writing portfolio which included a gem about his time spent in a nudist colony. Perhaps it was his laid back demeanour, his dry sense of humour or even his knack for knowing as much about hi-hop as old school rock-n-roll. Certainly his penchant for Air Max 90's didn't hurt at all. When David joined my team we fed him to the sharks. Not literally but metaphorically. The workload was heavy. He had no senior person to help guide him as a writer coming into an agency for the first time. I did my best and I felt that David flourished as he found his voice when writing for social. He gelled immediately with the rest of our small team and became an integral part of our budding creative team. I'm glad that I got the chance to work with David, to enjoy his humour and drive for creating creative that hit the mark. Sure it was a rough start, but he came through as a better writer. More confident and experienced ready to tackle the next challenge we threw at him."
