Responsible for production and editorial management of BBC Music online and interactive services. SubTV is a national entertainment TV channel shown on a screen network in Students’ Unions across the UK, with an audience reach of 1.7million 18-24 year olds. SubTV also run a variety of cross-platform new media projects and promotions in the same market. Responsibilities include:▪ Heading the editorial team responsible for the sourcing and scheduling of music and other content for SubTV services▪ Managing production of content and creation, planning and delivery of media promotions▪ Targeting deadlines and project budgets and ensuring that they are met▪ Working with the technical team to create, develop and deliver new interactive mediaservices across a range of platforms including TV, online and mobile appsKey achievements include:▪ Taking a lead role in creating and executing a cross-media unsigned music competition for3 Mobile. This highly successful project included audio & video streaming, online & mobile voting, production of 20 video sessions, a series of live events across the UK and interactive content available on mobile internet (in 2008)▪ Specifying and managing the implementation of an advanced music content system. This includes cataloguing, scheduling, VOD & reporting tools. The system is used across the business by editorial, production and sales teams and also at our Students' Union sites▪ Developing an innovative feature which allows individual SubTV sites to use video-on- demand to screen specific content.
