I believe that the design process acts as a framework to facilitate collaboration and tackle complex problems. A future facilitated, not determined, by design; bringing those that the outcomes will serve into the process to ensure that unmet needs are addressed. This becomes increasingly important as we move from a product to a service driven world. This shift requires a systems view, with a human-centered approach. I strive to understand complexity from a human perspective and co-create solutions for a happier, healthier future.I received my MFA in Design Research and Development from The Ohio State University Department of Design. My Master's thesis explored “Prototyping with Co-designers to Imagine Future Experiences”. I studied Product Design at the University of Edinburgh before practicing as a Designer/Maker for several years. I spent time working in South Korea as an educator while continuing my Design practice before moving to the US to study and work within the field of Design Research and Strategy, spending 4+ years working in the medical device and healthcare space before joining Meta in 2020, and Reality Labs in 2022.
