About David Loscos

David’s professional background and vision has always had music at its core. Since he joined the major record company BMG in 1997, David's entire professional career has revolved around the music business. Throughout these years he has been able to play different roles and interact with all kinds of agents, which has given him a global vision of the sector and the value that music brings to society as a whole.As music industry professional, he worked as label manager and local and international product manager for several record labels and digital content companies, before founding his own 360 label in 2003. As strategic consultant he worked for the culture and creative industries departments of the Chilean and Uruguayan governments, and also for startups of world-leading music technology as a business development consultant.In the field of education, he has designed music business programmes and courses for many institutions: the music business for the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Consevatori del Liceu, Berklee College of Music, ESMUC and the Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Chile). He is currently focused on directing IMB International Music Business School, the first business school exclusively dedicated to training in the music businessSpecialities: Music Business Training, Internationalisation, International Music Flows
