Transferred from Reed Business to Elsevier in London in November 2009 at the request of their MD who I had worked for previously in Australia. Finance Director for the Healthcare information business (print and online) covering standalone businesses in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America. Group revenues of circa $320m. Responsible for driving the performance of the businesses as well as accountability for financial control. As Finance Director I was responsible for all financial reporting and tax matters as well as being involved in numerous tender bids as well as acquisition reviews.
