I managed a portfolio of clients in a variety of sectors which include: Aerospace, Agricultural Machinery, Automotive, Aviation, Cleantech, Lifesciences, Mining & Aggregates, Oil & Gas, Sub-Contract Manufacturing and Waste. In each of these I use the sectoral ecosystem I have developed to advance my clients potential through introductions and opportunity identification.I also lead Enterprise Ireland’s Aerospace and Aviation Global team.

As a Senior Investment Officer (IA) I am involved in all large-scale applications for financial supports (Equity and/or Grant). Monitor the performance of existing investee companies by analysing their accounts / projection models and preparing cash flows. Preparation of performance reports for the Board. In some cases I become closely involved with investee companies which were experiencing difficulties, performing reviews of their financial situation and attending Board meetings. I developed financial models to analyse past performance and determine future actions. I also provided advice such as guidelines for producing financial information or setting up tax efficient structures. I liaised with promoters / solicitors / existing investors in negotiations of investment terms and legal contracts. I developed group structures to ensure investee companies comply with BES legislation. I liaised with Revenue during these applications and also to obtain tax relief on the investors investment.
