Upon graduation, I was awarded the Governor General's Gold Medal (top PhD student in the graduating class) and the University Medal for Outstanding Graduate Work - Doctoral Level.My thesis was on how to perform.

Was the Scientific Authority for a $100,000 contract with the Institute for Quantum Computing to develop a quantum radar prototype.Our DRDC-IQC collaboration was the first in the world to scientifically describe a prototype radar which incorporates all the components required in a quantum radar.

Mathematically analyzed and modelled the simplest possible quantum repeater system. Determined what prameter values engineers would need to achieve if they want to beat fundamental bounds on repeaterless quantum key distribution systems.
