-Reporting to the SVP Commercial for Operations and SVP Operations Americas, I lead a team of commercial leads and analysts across North and South America and am responsible for providing commercial governance, bid and tender support, pricing strategies, profitability improvement strategies, risk management, development of key performance indicators, contract and union collective agreement interpretation, and administration of all ongoing contracts for Wood’s Operations business across Canada, Latin America and the Onshore Oil and Gas sector of the USA.- Have a proven track record of maintaining excellence relationships with customer representatives, leading commercial and contractual negotiations to successful conclusion, and resolving commercial disputes.- Accountable for the development, mentoring and assurance of the commercial team to ensure the business is provide with detailed commercial analysis, risk identification and mitigation tactics, and commercial governance in accordance with Wood’s delegation of authority and associated policies and procedures.- Provide commercial support to digital and technology solutions, driving innovation, and developing commercial models and pricing strategies for new technologies, business lines and service offerings.- Additional duties include facilitating efficiency workshops and strategy sessions to establish strategic objectives and key results (quarterly, annual and 3 year plans).

- Responsible for Technical and Commercial bid development for Wood’s Operation Services pursuits in Eastern Canada, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago and Alaska.- Developed and managed of complex financial models from base-level costing to final customer pricing.- Completed financial analytics for multiple cost and pricing scenarios.- Identified, quantified and communicated commercial and contract risks, search for mitigations and assist in development of strategic alternatives.- Employed a positive negotiation style built on developing trust and long lasting relationships while ensuring Wood’s interests were protected in a mutually beneficial agreement.- Contract and Commercial administration of large scale EPCM contracts for Wood.

- Instrumentation engineer responsible for developing client project requirements into a scope of work, estimating project costs, directing others in the development of the design documentation, managing an engineering and materials budget and interacting with a multidiscipline engineering office and offshore construction tradesman.- Mentoring junior engineers and designers.- Conducted offshore surveys to inspecting existing equipment, cable routing, and new equipment locations. - Developed positive working relationships with operations and construction personnel.- Experience in providing engineering solutions for control challenges specifically related to flow, level, pressure, and temperature feedback using various technologies to control devices such as control valves, shutdown equipment.- Package Engineer on instrumentation equipment (Transmitters, Gauges, Control Panels, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems, Actuated Valves, Control Valves, Flow Meters). Responsibilities include developing equipment specification, technical authority during procurement process, evaluation of vendor bid packages and approving vendor documentation.- Project Engineer on Husky’s WWRP CGS Ballast Control System for ARUP. Responsible for the stewardship of project deliverables, cost and schedule reporting and change control management.- Focal point for engineering intercompany projects – management of intercompany POs and requests for technical services between the St. John’s office and other offices within Wood.

- Provided a key support role in the delivery of the Hibernia Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPCM) contract.- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of engineering, procurement and construction work occurring in office and on the Hibernia Platform. Chaired bi-weekly meetings with senior staff and management to review office and offshore resourcing and project priorities.

- Responsible for the design and development of Subsea Master Control Stations for two major clients in the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil.- Daily interaction with vendors and fabrication staff in Mexico. Developed innovative techniques for improvements to existing equipment through quality testing. Resulted in a simplified fabrication and installation process saving time and lowering project costs.- Major Deliverables: Electrical Schematics, Bill of Materials, Assembly Drawings, Installation and Testing Procedures.

- Junior Engineer for Distributed Control Systems Upgrade Project for the Ninian Central Platform – North Sea.- Completed detailed engineering work and prepared work pack involving the relocation of 400 I/O cable pairs from incompatible IS barriers.- Assisted with the Phase 1 Pre Shutdown Hardware design. Input into the system architecture for interfacing to a dual redundant fiber optic network, installation of Ethernet network, operator stations and initial I/O signal transfers.

- Developed, designed and rolled out a new project-estimating tool for the Engineering Departments based in Excel VBA. Program took inputs from engineers and designers and created a Client report outlining hours required for the scope, scope of work, design deliverables lists, material take offs and perform project progress tracking to the deliverable level.

-Worked on a Formal Safety Assessment study of Small Fishing Vessel Stability funded by Transport Canada. - Organized and participated in a Hazard and Operability study involving members of academia, industry and government on reasons why fishing vessels were experiencing stability issues and how they can be addressed through policy and regulations. -Held several workshops to analyze the safety concerns of small fishing vessels in Canada. Developed extensive skills in formal reporting procedures, safety policy and procedures and technical writing.

-Worked closely with Maintenance, Project and Operations Departments. Supervised 3rd Party contractors working on site.-Obtained operations experience as a control room operator and field engineer.
