Worked on a contract with GrubHub (via DataHen) to create API bridges between external food ordering platforms (without APIs) and GrubHub's API using Ruby. This was a way to quickly onboard thousands of restaurants to the GrubHub platform. - Reverse engineered 12 ordering platforms that did not have APIs - Built a bridge to integrate GrubHub with these platforms - Integrations included scraping menus, order validation, real ordering using one-time use credit cards from Chase bank, customer signups, error handling, discounts, etc… - Processed over 300k orders - Oversaw small team that did integrations for 5 platforms - Maintained these integrations over time - Also wrote a Ruby gem for DataHen to perform quality assurance on data retrieved by their internal scraping for their own clients: https://github.com/answersengine/ae_easy-qa
